***Introducing: Want It Now***

We are very excited to announce Want It Now, a new way for members to buy and sell unique, hard-to-find items.
Have you been looking everywhere for that one collectible to complete your collection? Or maybe you need a missing hubcap for your car that you just can’t find?

With Want It Now, buyers can now tell sellers exactly what they are looking for when they are unable to find it on the site. Sellers can then browse through these requests to discover buyers for their items, as well as get new ideas for what items are in demand.

Buyers: Creating a Want It Now post
When buyers search for an item and receive a low number of results, they will be offered the option of creating a Want It Now post on the Want It Now specialty site. You can also go directly to the Want It Now specialty site from the homepage to create a post. To post to Want It Now, you must have at least 5 feedback or a credit card on file.

Want It Now posts are anonymous, and no identifying information will be displayed.

Sellers: Responding to a Want It Now post
Any member can browse Want It Now posts. If a Want It Now post matches a listing on the site that you know about, you can use the Respond function to alert the buyer. The buyer will receive an anonymous email instructing them how to view the item on the site.

Listing an Item that matches a Want It Now post
Sellers who discover a Want It Now post for an item that they have in stock but haven’t listed will be able to access the Sell Your Item form directly from the Want It Now post. Once the listing is complete, simply click on Respond to send the listing anonymously to the potential buyer. (Items listed via this method will be available to everyone, exactly like a regular listing on the site.)

In early December, we introduced Want It Now, a new way for members to buy and sell unique, hard-to-find items. Since its launch, Want It Now has been very popular with members and helped many to find that particular item for which they were looking.
As our Community continues to learn how best to use Want It Now, we have heard from a number of members that not all responses to their Want It Now posts have been relevant to their original request. Irrelevant responses can be caused because a Want It Now post was too general, or because a respondent hoped that their item would be “close enough” to the needs of the poster. We have also seen a few examples of “Want It Now Spam” when a respondent responds to many posts with unrelated items.

To reduce the chance that a respondent will send an irrelevant response, we encourage members using Want It Now to be as clear as possible when describing the item that they want.

In addition, because irrelevant responses have a detrimental impact on Want It Now, later this week we will begin to warn members that have been reported for sending such responses. If a member shows a pattern of sending irrelevant responses, we will restrict them from responding to Want It Now posts.

Warnings and restrictions will be based solely upon the reports we receive from the person who created the original Want It Now post, since they are the best judge of whether an item met their description.

We know that both buyers and sellers find Want It Now valuable and want it to be an effective way to find and sell items. Educating and, when necessary, limiting members that send irrelevant responses will improve the Want It Now experience for both buyers and sellers.

Обнаружил на новую опцию в My Ebay. Называется Want It Now.

Мож кто уже и пользуется , но я впервые обнаружил ..
Покупатель может оставить запрос, что он ищет, и на этот запрос продавцы могут навалить предложения..

А продавцы могут поиском по запросам найти желающих , к примеру , купить его товар или подобный , и предложить свой лот ищущему..

Ага, я так продал несколько итемов в самом начале. Однако, чтобы послать предложение, надо сформировать лот, следовательно, платить всякие фии и т.д.
